Summer Soirée at the
Victoria and Albert Musuem
Featuring the Cartier Exhibition
The night was Marie Antoinette-themed in the best way possible — think powdered wigs, violinists in brocade, drag queens in Versailles-worthy gowns, and an atmosphere dripping in decadent detail. The Drunken Jockeys brought the party to life with two themed bars serving crème brûlée martinis, crisp summer spritzes, and flowing champagne.
Canapés were on another level: beef tartare with oyster emulsion, lamb Wellington bites, pea & mint popping jellies, cauliflower panna cotta, and silky chalk stream trout with beetroot purée, all placed on Cartier themed serving trays.
A Serrano ham carving station and fresh sashimi stand kept things delightfully indulgent — and don’t even get me started on the dessert display. A towering cake stand of profiteroles, edible roses, and patisserie magic fit for a queen (literally).
And of course — the Cartier exhibition: bold, brilliant, and absolutely cutting edge (pun intended), because what’s a soirée without a little sparkle?
Filmed and edited to capture every glittering detail, from the jewels to the joy.
